Join us for a private tour of Bletchley Park, home of the Britsh code breakers in World War II. The work of thousands of mathematicians, statisticians and machine operators here was vital to the success of the Allies. From helping end the decimation of the convoys in the North Atlantic to planting misinformation about the location of the Normandy landing and beyond, the workers at Bletchley toiled for years in total secrecy.
We will meet at Euston station to take the train together (ticket on your own) to Bletchley and walk the short distance to the park to be there for a one hour tour at 11:00 am. After the tour you will have the whole afternoon to wander on your own if you wish.
If you are interested in going, please email the activity leader to be added to the registration list. You will be notified closer to the date to pay assuming conditions allow.
